Gary Evans and Nancy Scott of Gatenby Sanderson Recruitment delivered the first session of Coaching 101. This session covered

Coaching 101 was a three sessions programme organised as part of the Network’s aim to increase the number of Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic Planners in senior management positions within the planning profession.
Coaching 101 was for all planners irrespective of race or ethnicity seeking to progress to middle or senior management positions. The programme will be facilitated by Nancy Scott and Gary Evans from Gatenby Sanderson, one of the top Senior Management recruiters in the Country.
Nancy, the Local Government Partner, has over 20 years of international recruitment experience across central government, local government, not-for-profit and private sectors. She brings expertise and an impressive track record across a variety of disciplines including infrastructure, transport, international development and professional services. More recently, Nancy has focused on talent management and widening participation in the workforce and advancing social mobility.
Gary specialises in senior local government search and selection. His focus has been on developing regional target search offerings across England. He has worked in a wide range of senior planning roles including Principal Planning Specialists, Development Managers, Chief Planning Officers, Assistant Directors, Heads of Planning and Heads of Development.
