Ganesh is a chartered town planner with in excess of 15 years of experience working within local government.

Currently working as Development Management Service Manager at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, he has gained a wealth of experience in Local Planning Authorities across London, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.A strong project manager, Ganesh has worked on some interesting projects. Understanding the importance of heritage, he was involved in securing Heritage Lottery Funding to bring a dilapidated listed building and associated grounds back into use. Passionate about social housing, he was the dedicated planner for a project in Cambridge which secured £70m in grant funding to provide 500 new council homes. The success of the project saw a desire for further social housing provision and at the time of leaving this role, planning permission had been granted for in excess of 1000 social homes, many of which have been built and are now occupied.Ganesh has a BA in Urban and Environmental Planning and a PgDip in Town Planning and is a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
